When we started Koch & Fields LLC, (June 2008), we leased onto three different companies in hopes that we were going to be successful driving as owner/operators. We, then, decided to get our own authority and work on our own because none of the companies seemed to really come thru with what they promised. On December 24, 2008 we were awarded with the ability to run as our own company.
We had another driver join us mid-February and the third in March. April 2009, we hired a few owner/ops to our lease purchase drivers and traded in the Cascadia for three more trucks to bring the total of owner/ops to seven.
Currently, we're running 18 trucks under our authority.
